The Aerospace Technical Services Group is comprised of four Strategic Business Units focused on installations and logistics management, field services and flight services and training.

Installations Management provides comprehensive services for the operation and management of complex government installations, and military bases, and is one of the largest technical range support contractors in the U.S. Our experience includes all areas of operations and maintenance activity, including oversight of all construction, testing and operation of base systems and processes, support of high security environments, and construction management for facilities design and renovation programs, and base redevelopment. Our expertise includes the development of unparalleled technology applications in support of research, development, test and evaluation, and the training mission of numerous military test and training ranges and facilities.

Logistics Management provides logistics support services for numerous DoD agencies which focus on the development of integrated logistics chains to ensure readiness and rapid response. We specialize in warehousing, packaging, delivery and traffic management of vast stores of equipment and materials in support of base and worldwide customers. We also maintain depot equipment, assure safety, environmental and radiological compliance, and oversee security, human resources, contracting and budget activities.

Field Services provides maintenance, modification and overhaul services, and service life extension for military ground and aviation systems. We are one of only four companies participating in the DoD Contract Field Team program, under which on-site teams provide maintenance and repair services worldwide. We provide maintenance and repair services for aircraft and ground vehicles, and other equipment at more than 80 sites to support military logistics operations in the U.S. and abroad, and perform depot maintenance for such aircraft as the C-130 and T-38. Other assignments include equipment maintenance services in support of Army units performing contingency operations in the Balkans and surrounding areas.

Flight Services & Training provides aircraft flight training to students, instructor pilot trainees and navigators for the Air Force Undergraduate Flying Training Program, with a focus on academics, simulator instruction, and courseware development. We also provide ground instruction and flight training for the Army's Rotary Wing Pilot Training Program, and have completed over 1.3 million hours of flight instruction without accident or class delay. EG&G provides maintenance services on virtually every type of aircraft in the U.S. military inventory. Our technicians and managers perform maintenance, overhaul and repair on engines on T-37 and T-38 training aircraft, and on J-69 and J-85 components and jet engines.
